Dan York, CISSP, coordinates Mitel's internal Product Security Team that assesses security threats to Mitel's Voice-over-IP products, responds to vulnerability reports, liaisons with security industry bodies and monitors evolving security issues. Dan serves as Mitel's representative to the Technical Advisory Board of the Voice-over-IP Security Alliance (VOIPSA) where he is active with the outreach committee on defining a cross-industry taxonomy to describe security threats to VoIP. He is also a member of the board of the Ottawa Chapter of the Informations Systems Security Association and has been involved with network and Internet-related security issues for over 15 years.
