Mr. Therriault has extensive experience in the areas of data classification systems, data capture standards and business transformation processes. His career began at Statistics Canada where he worked until joining Industry Canada in 1991. There, he led the team that provided input into the 1997 revision of the North American Industrial Classification System for Information Technology. In addition to working on other projects such as the Government Information Locater Service and leading the Strategis Content Development team and establishing GILs light approach to SGML metadata tagging HTML resources. Through his organization of and participation in hundreds of focus groups across the country, he has developed and in-depth knowledge of the service delivery expectations of Canadians and the subsequent requirements of public sector services.
