Topic: CIO and CSO: Friends or Foes? - Dividing up the InfoSec Pie

Syd is a graduate of the Royal Military College, Kingston and Canadian Forces Staff College, Toronto; and enjoyed a career of over 25 years in the Canadian Forces Security Branch. During that time he specialized in resolving information systems security issues supporting the Department of National Defence, eventually acting as Director of Information Technology Security at NDHQ. He retired from the Forces to take up a teaching position at Algonquin College. There he is a founder (1998) of the one-year postgraduate program in Information Systems Security. The Algonquin School of Advanced Technology, home of the ISS Program, welcomes applicants for fall 2005.
